Gmail · Private by construction

Clean Gmail without building another inbox.

TidyWand connects directly from your Apple device, requests exact feature-scoped access and keeps Gmail message processing off developer servers.

The honest boundary

Restricted access. Narrow behaviour.

  • gmail.modify powers metadata inventory, reviewed moves, restore and history sync.
  • gmail.settings.basic is requested later, only when you approve an exact Keep Clean sender filter.
  • The app requests METADATA or MINIMAL format and does not index message bodies or subjects.
  • Removing the inbox clears local data and attempts filter and grant cleanup.

How it works

What Google sees and what TidyWand does not

Gmail authentication opens Google's OAuth page in Apple's system browser; no embedded Google Sign-In SDK ships inside TidyWand. Gmail mail operations still travel directly between your device and Google.

TidyWand has no mailbox-processing server and no developer copy of your Gmail index. Credentials and OAuth state remain in Keychain; support reports exclude mailbox identity and raw provider data.
